The awards ceremony, preceded by a visit to the Dachau concentration camp, will take place on December 17th, in the premises of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg. The "Hymn to life" will be given by card. Ennio Antonelli, president of the Papal Council for the Family, after two round tables to commemorate scientist Lejeune. The press conference also invited to subscribe to that "Petition for man’s life and dignity" which has already collected 950 thousand subscriptions and which will continue until July 2009, when it will be submitted to the European Union’s leaders on the opening of the new term.
