European Pro-Life Movements (PLM) take part in the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, recalling that a man is always a man, from conception to natural death. "If it is not clear who the owner of human rights is, all the doctrine of human rights becomes useless. Against the barbarism of discrimination between human lives that are worth living and human lives that are not worth living, 60 years ago the Universal Declaration proclaimed the principle of equality and the dignity of all the beings that belong to the human family. Our commitment to the right to life from conception is based on such principles", point out the European PLMs. To insist on such principles, the Brussels premises of the European Parliament hosted a press conference, which was attended by Carlo Casini, president of the Italian Pro-Life Movement, and Anna Záborská, president of the Commission for women’s rights and gender equality of the European Parliament.
