The themes for the next three World Youth Days, as decided by Benedict XVI, "to promote the spiritual process, that will have its highlight in the international celebration due to take place in Madrid, Spain, from 16th to 21st August 2011", have been announced today. They are: for the XXIV WYD (2009), "We have placed our hope in the living God» (1Tm 4,10)", for the XXV WYD (2010), "Good master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? (Mk 10,17)", and, for the XXVI WYD (2011), "Rooted and founded in Christ, firm in faith" (cf. Col 2,7).” “
