"Largely positive" was the opinion expressed by the Joint Committee about the Third European Ecumenical Assembly, which took place in Sibiu (in Romania) last year. It was the first time the members of Ccee and Kek met after the meeting in Sibiu. "In the current state of ecumenism reads the release , Sibiu proved that the Christians of Europe are committed to a joint testimony at different levels, and can give a unique contribution to the building of the common house of Europe".
