Here is the unabridged text of the telegram, as published by the newsroom of the Holy See: "Informed of the tragic death of monsignor Paulos Faraj Rahho, archbishop of Mosul of the Chaldeians, following his dramatic abduction last February, I wish to send you, to the Chaldeain Church and to the whole Christian community the expression of my special sympathy, while reasserting my firmest disapproval of a deed of inhumane violence, that offends the dignity of the human being and seriously endangers the cause of the fraternal cohabitation of the beloved Iraqi population".
