"It is clear commented Msgr. Giordano -, that the media are the element contributing to globalization and interconnection to the highest extent with respect to all others. But media may be the instruments making this globalization go adrift. When the media lie outside the service for truth, they risk manipulating reality, of being the ones which decide facts. On the other hand, if the media and we are experiencing this, here put themselves in the service of reality and values, they become the right instruments for building common good. And for the Church, they become the favourite instruments to construct the reality the Church already is, that is, universal Catholicism".
