Apart from difficulties, lots of positive experiences were told: the struggle conducted before the European Parliament by the Catholic Church of Romania for safeguarding the Cathedral of Bucharest, which "produced the real image of a Church taking care of the city". Or the even European echo generated by the Madrid demonstration for the family in December: "Two million people demonstrated in the square". There are also the ecumenical accounts by the representatives of the Catholic Church in the Greek media, in the memory of Archbishop Christodoulos. Finally, the press officer of the Slovakian Bishops’ Conference, Kozef Kovacik, made known the news of the birth of "Lux TV" two months ago. It is a satellite and cable TV, a project born on initiative by the Bishops’ Conference, the Salesians, and Lux Communication. "The media are subject to two kinds of drifts concluded Father Domenico Pompili from the Italian Bishops’ Conference : politicization of events, and turning events into a show. Those two drifts affect everything, and thus, the Church, too". Moreover, according to the Italian representative, it is necessary "to find the right language to let the people understand that, for Churches, the questions of social and individual ethics cannot be separated".
