As one of the problems that endanger dialogue, Salameh listed "poverty, the rise in migration flows due to ethnic fights, occupations. It is unacceptable that there are people who take the liberty of converting others under duress or playing tricks with their house, work or needs". Answers to such problems are "the study of religious literature, including the Gospel, the opening of local parishes and cultural centres that may attract thinkers and opinion-leaders where the devotees of the two religions may meet". But an important help to dialogue can be given by the unity of the churches of the world, for the symbol of faith, one holy, Catholic and apostolic Church, to be effective". Hence Salameh’s denunciation "of those institutions that call themselves Churches but have nothing spiritual and are not recognised, which lure the devotees with money and offers of a job. Let’s join forces in a spirit of support and friendship, and let’s make up one body, for the light to prevail over darkness".
