(From our correspondents in Sydney) – Sean Jesudason was born in the state of SRI Lanka but has been living in Australia for four years. His family "taught him to practice faith": "Thanks to their guide, I started receiving the Eucharist every morning, serving at the altar and giving my time in the service of the parish. Seen from outside, I was a perfect example of faithfulness. But inside, I was very far from the Lord. I was very busy at the parish, but it was very hard to be able to recognize the presence of God inside me", admitted Sean. When he moved to Australia, the boy started "seeing God in all His majesty". "During a camp in which I took part as university student he said, – I found myself face to face exactly with what I feared most: the thought of offering God my whole life. While I perceived the lovely presence of God as guide, my fear changed into peace". "Every commitment, every act of love for our neighbour, are good if performed with and for our God, who loves us", concluded Sean.
