The meeting of European and Australian university students, promoted by the university pastoral office of the Vicariate of Rome, the Catholic chantries of the archdiocese of Sydney, and Acsa, the Australian Catholic students’ association, will take place on July 14th at Saint John’s College in Sydney. The event, one of the happenings included in the World Youth Day which will take place in Sydney from July 15th to 20th, will be named "Witnesses of the Gospel at university". The meeting will be opened by Robert Haddad, director of the chantries of Sydney, by Camillus Okane, director of Acsa, and by mgr. Lorenzo Leuzzi, director of the university pastoral office of the Vicariate of Rome. They will be followed by the testimonies of some students, a report on the Pauline Year, Mass, and, as in the best Australian tradition, a final barbecue. At the meeting, the university students from Rome will give their Australian and European counterparts a picture of Mary, Sedes Sapientiae, given by John Paul II to all the universities of the world.
