A website for evangeliser children. It is called "Yfaith" (www.yfaith.co.uk) and is an initiative of the English Bishops Conference that will launch it on September 7th. Developed in conjunction with the "Catholic Safeguarding Advisory Service" which deals with children’s safety within the Catholic Church and the "Child Exploitation And Online Protection Centre" of the British Police, engaged in the fight against the sexual abuse of children, the website has been designed for children aged 10 to 13. Over 20 interactive pages full of music and films, sections for boys and girls, book reviews, explanations of the Bible, all of this can be found on the website, which, according to Emily Davis, one of the promoters, aims to answer the questions most frequently asked by children in this age group, such as: "am I good enough?", "how can I become a very good friend?", "what is faith to do with my life? ", "what does the Cross mean?". The contents of the website have been compiled by a group of children with the help of experienced adults. According to the Catholic Primate, card. Murphy-O’Connor, "children need to feel they belong to a Catholic community, especially in the time of transition from primary to secondary school, when they feel uncertain and their faith is questioned. The website may help those parents who do not know how to communicate their faith to their children".
