On Sunday, October 5th, at 9.30 am, in the Basilica di San Paolo fuori le Mura, the Pope will officiate the co-celebration of the Eucharist with the synodal fathers on the occasion of the opening of the XII General Assembly of the Episcopal Synod about: "God’s Word in the life and in the mission of the Church". The news was relayed today by mgr. Guido Marini, master of the papal liturgical celebrations. The meeting of the Synod will take place in the Vatican from 5th to 26th October, the chairman will be mgr. Nikola Eterovic.
