Terror attack
Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Deutschland, the Confederation of Muslim Communities in Germany, condemns the terrorist attack in Berlin and expresses its “deep grief and shock over the terrible carnage”. In an official statement published on the website www.ahmadiyya.de, the body reaffirms “the horror and pain we feel for this murderous attack on innocent people. This is a human tragedy for innocent people are victims of misleading individuals who act without any regrets or qualms. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims and of the injured. May God help the innocent in their pain and alleviate their suffering”. According to Ahmadiyya, the State needs to “counter hideous and inhuman attacks and terrorist acts aimed at disintegrating human society”. According to the German Muslims, “the goal of such despicable acts is only to systematically destroy peace in our society”. “We hope and pray that these events will not represent a setback for cohesion efforts in society and for the integration work”.
