Churches in Europe: Mass in Brussels for the EU institutions’ getting back to work. Archbishop De Kesel officiates

(Brussels) The archbishop of Malines-Brussels, mgr. Jozef De Kesel, will officiate the Eucharistic celebration on Wednesday, September 7^th, in the church of Notre Dame au Sablon, in Brussels (at 7.00 pm), to celebrate the EU institutions’ getting back to work after the summer break. The initiative, called “Mass for Europe” and traditionally promoted by Comece (Commission of the European Bishops Conferences), will be co-officiated by mgr. Jozef Hal’ko, auxiliary bishop of Bratislava (Slovakia is currently president of the EU Council), and by mgr. Jean Kockerols, auxiliary bishop of Brussels and deputy president of Comece.
