Vincent Lambert: Gisotti (Holy See), “God is the only master of life, from its start to its natural end”

“We have painfully received the news of Vincent Lambert’s death. We pray that the Lord may welcome him into His Home and we express our sympathy with his loved ones and all those who have committed to assisting him with love and devotion through to the end”. This was said by the interim director of the Vatican Newsroom, Alessandro Gisotti: “We recall and repeat what the Holy Father said as he took position on this painful fact: God is the only master of life, from its start to its natural end, and it is our duty to always protect it and not give in to the culture of waste”.
